About us

We're Grupo FERN, founded in Madrid by Rayan Nikpour and Filip Ecer, two friends from Germany who set out to build something the right way from the ground up. FERN is a holding group, and we don't buy businesses that already exist. We build them from scratch, one at a time, backing each with the same conviction that real value comes from work done properly rather than shortcuts.

For us this is also personal. Property and building things with your hands run through both our families, so flipping and renovation aren't abstractions to us. They're something we grew up around. We pair that with a business grounding in finance and strategy, but we've never been drawn to theory for its own sake. What pulls us in is the opposite, a business you can't fake your way through, where the numbers only work if the execution is real. That's the kind of problem we wanted to put our hands on.

Today the group runs on two fronts. Our property arm sources, refurbishes, and sells homes across Madrid, turning overlooked properties into places people actually want to live. Through Espira, our vending division, we place machines where people need them most, from hospitals and gyms to offices, universities, and clubs. Different businesses, same thesis. Both live or die on daily execution, and service that doesn't fail is the whole product.

Above all, we're here to build something that lasts and to leave things a little better than we found them. A home restored, a small pleasure right when you want it, a group we're proud to put our name on. One project, one machine, one honest result at a time.
