Cookie policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Spanish law (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE) also applies to equivalent technologies, such as browser local storage, so this policy covers both.
This site does not use cookies
This site sets no cookies at all: no first-party or third-party cookies, and no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. That is why you will not see a consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools.
Browser local storage
We use browser storage (sessionStorage and localStorage) for two strictly functional preferences. They contain no personal data, never leave your device and are exempt from consent because of their technical purpose (art. 22.2 LSSI-CE and the AEPD's Guide on the use of cookies):
- fern-intro (sessionStorage): remembers during your visit that you have already seen the entrance animation, so it does not repeat on every page; cleared when the tab closes.
- espira-cookie-ok (localStorage): remembers that you have dismissed Espira's informational notice, so it is not shown again.
Cookieless metrics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure audience and performance in aggregate, without cookies or persistent identifiers. They cannot identify you or track you across sites.
Managing the storage
You can clear stored site data at any time from your browser settings. The only effect is that you will see the entrance animation or the informational notice again.
If this changes
If we ever add services that use non-exempt cookies, prior consent will be requested in line with the AEPD's guidance, and this policy will be updated before they are activated.
